Alexandra Ioan

Biography

Alexandra Ioan is an experienced professional and researcher with over 14 years of practice in building and managing international non-profit organizations, research projects, and contributing to evidence-based decision and policy processes. Alexandra focuses on improving practices and effectiveness of civil society organizations, improving governance processes through analysis-based and participatory decision-making, and conducting state-of-the-art research and analysis in the social sector that is relevant and useful for practitioners and scholars alike. She has worked with the Hertie School of Governance, The German Marshall Fund of the United States, Ashoka, the ERSTE Foundation and the Competence Center for Nonprofit Organizations and Social Entrepreneurship at Vienna University of Economics and Business, ChangemakerXChange, CONCORDIA Social Projects, among others. Alexandra Ioan holds a PhD in Governance from Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, Germany.
