In 2019 we developed a paper for the Joining Forces consortium regarding progress in areas related to child protection in Romania since the ratification of the UNCRC within the framework of Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.

The overall aim of the report was to provide a snapshot of child rights in Romania, in the context of changes that have taken place in the last 30 years. The methodological approach consisted of: (1) An analysis of the main dimensions of child rights employing statistical indicators derived from child-related SDGs; (2) A stakeholder analysis of the main actors influencing child rights; (3) Focus-group analysis of children’s opinions regarding their rights.
